Professional Experience:

Beginning her practice in Civil Litigation, Ms. Summer’s has been focused in Real Estate Litigation and Legal Practice for the last 20 years.

Bringing her legal expertise to represent clients in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, Ms. Summer’s experience enables her to represent both landlords and tenants in leasing transactions including, but not limited to: office and retail subleases; lease amendments; assignments; consents to sublet; brokerage agreements; subordination; non-disturbance agreements; and estoppel certificates. She has also represented borrowers at closing and in negotiating and revising commitment letters and loan documents.

Additionally, Ms. Summer is qualified in all aspects of drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and ancillary documents for the purchase and sale of real estate, performing related title due diligence and handling all aspects of closings.

Her cooperative housing representation includes the review and revision of by-laws and proprietary lease forms, negotiation of construction contracts, and the review of estate and trust documents related to shareholder transfer requests.
